Terms of business

Quotes
Our written quotes are fixed for 60 days. They list every item of work, name any provisional sums with their estimated value, and state what is excluded. Estimates from the website estimator are guides, not quotes.
Deposits and payments
A 10% deposit reserves your start date. Further payments are due at the stages set out in the quote, within seven days of each stage being completed. We never invoice ahead of the work.
Changes
Any change to the work, requested by you or needed because of something found on site, is priced in writing and agreed before we carry it out.
Approvals
Where we apply for planning or building regulations approval on your behalf, the application fees are payable by you and listed separately in the quote.
Guarantee
We give a 10-year structural guarantee on the structural work we carry out, and a two-year guarantee on finishes. Where an insurance-backed warranty applies, its terms are provided with your contract.
Cancellation
If you signed the contract at home, you have 14 days to cancel without charge. After that, the deposit covers costs already incurred.
